1. My ancestors came from Mauritius and I would like to find out more about my paternal grandfather side of the family.
   Is it possible to put the name into your Mag or could you advise me on any other ways to do this. Many thanks

2. Dear Sir or Madam,

   I read with great pleasure the article on the KSLI Tour in Mauritius at around Independence time.

   I served for 22 years with the British Army and had the chance to meet many from this Regiment who served here. Unfortunately for me I was in Berlin at the time.

   KSLI became the 3rd Battalion The Light Infantry in the 1970s. Since there has been further reorganisation of Infantry Regiments and no doubt KSLI has been amalgamated with other units. However, their Regimental History goes on and indeed, their Museum. I’m sure that any information of a general nature you may require from that era can be obtained from them.

   It would be great if our archives could contain more on this sad affair.
