Hi,I was a soldier who took part in the quelling of the riots in Mauritius in 1968, after a few awkward times the local population came to terms with the troops who had come to help them bring peace to a beautiful Island, i carried out Two tours in Mauritius and i have to say, it was an experience i will never forget, the local people were fantastic and very friendly, i would love to go back to the Island to see how it has fared over the years, very good luck in the future to all Mauritians, God bless,Glen Lister KSLI.
